Hotel Rumbao, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The location is right across from one of the main cruise terminals. It is fun to watch all the activity when those big ships come into port. The rooftop pool and hot tub are great though they need to replenish the pool towels more often. There is a CVS a couple blocks after and a Walgreens in the same building and they sell alcohol and basic food, snack and drinks along with pharmacy items. They upgraded us from junior suite to full suite overlooking the port. Many restaurants and bars are located within a short walk.

Hotel was great! We purchased the room.package with breakfast. Hotel Rumbao sent an email explaining that parking was not included and breakfast was for only 2 people. That was not their fault, I think it's a booking.com verbiage when booking. Makes you think if you book a room for 4 and "pay" for breakfast that you're paying for 4 people. When in reality, it's only for 2 people. Not such a big deal, as our children were young enough to eat free. This was explained at the front desk. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Spoke with the kids while checking in/out. Would love to return one day.

It was very convenient, across the street from the cruise port. The room was ver comfortable and clean, and the lobby receptionist was very kind and helpful.
